Mitsubishi is planning on sending out the Lancer Evolution with a bang in the United States with reports emerging that the Japanese marque is looking to launch one final, special edition model before production ends during the course of next year.
According to Automotive News, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will be sent off with a ‘Special Action Model’. Created solely for the U.S. market, the special Evo will receive a range of performance improvements including additional power.
Production of the model will reportedly kick off next year and run for about 6 months. During that time, it is pinned that between 2000 and 2500 examples will be built.
