Saab's New Owners NEVS Could Already Be Bankrupt

Just once you thought the future of Saab was confirmed following its purchase by National Electric Vehicle of Sweden (NEVS) in 2012, there’s a possibility that NEVS is now bankrupt.

According to LaboTest AB, a subcontractor for NEVS which supplies testing equipment, NEVS has failed to pay bills valued at $21,800. As a result of this, LaboTest AB submitted a petition to the District Court on Tuesday to find NEVS bankrupt.

It is suggested that bankruptcy proceedings will kick off in Swedish court on September 8 where the fate of NEVS will be decided.
