Next-Generation Volkswagen Phaeton Rendered

Next-Generation Volkswagen Phaeton Rendered

The next-generation Volkswagen Phaeton won’t only be an extremely important luxury car for VW; it will also be made available in the United States unlike the current car. In order to give us an idea of how the new Phaeton could look, Theophilus Chin has created the following rendering of the car.

Understandably, the next-generation Phaeton won’t be revolutionary in terms of its design compared to the current model. As a result, it will feature styling quite similar to the Passat albeit on a bigger scale. Compared to the current model, Chin’s rendered Phaeton features far more straight lines and less curvy design elements than the current car.

Other details about the next-generation Phaeton remain scarce at this point. However, we do know that it will ride on the Volkswagen Group’s next-generation MLB platform. Elsewhere, the next Phaeton will likely make use of lightweight aluminium as well as a host of smaller engines to make it more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly than the current car.
