Pure McLaren’s second track day of the year took place last weekend at Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit in the United Kingdom. Regular readers will remember that the first Pure McLaren Driving Experience took place at Spa Francorchamps last month. The British event promised to be bigger and better, it certainly did not disappoint!
The photos you see below were shot by McLaren and show the variety of cars in attendance. The weather was typically British but that didn’t dampen spirits. Brand new McLaren 650S Coupe and Spiders were available. These were supplemented by McLaren 12C Spiders and Coupes bought by owners.
For those that don’t already know, Pure McLaren Driving Experience is a factory backed program. There is an ownership element to the experiences. The events are primarily organised for McLaren owners who are able to take their cars to the race track for a day of high-speed track action.
The Pure McLaren Driving Experience also includes an experience for non-owners. These days include tuition, time out on track and an introduction to McLaren cars together with hospitality. The next event will be at Brands Hatch on 25 June 2014.
