Upcoming Mercedes-Benz MLC/ML Coupe Spied in AMG Guise

Not too long after the very first spy shots of the Mercedes-Benz MLC, also known as the ML Coupe emerged online, another prototype has been spied testing in AMG guise!

It is believed that the car will be available both as the ML 63 AMG Coupe and ML 65 AMG Coupe. While it can’t be confirmed which model this prototype is, it is most likely to be the ML 63 AMG Coupe and will act as a direct rival to the BMW X6 M.

Separating this prototype from previous ones spied testing is the revised front end incorporating larger air intakes, revised side skirts, new wheels and brakes and the most obvious giveaway, the squared quad AMG exhaust pipes at the rear.

Beneath the sleek body, the Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG Coupe will most likely utilise AMG’s 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering 577 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque.

From an overall visual perspective, we know the Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe will resemble the Concept Coupe SUV from the Beijing Motor Show very closely. However, as is typically the case, the production-spec Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe will feature redesigned bumpers both front and rear as well as larger wing mirrors. It is also likely that slightly tweaked headlights and taillights will feature.

Alongside the ML 63 AMG Coupe and ML 65 AMG Coupe, the Mercedes-Benz ML Coupe or MLC, will be available with a selection of petrol and diesel V6 engines while also being offered as a hybrid.
