At last year’s SEMA show, the brand new Mopar ’14 Challenger was revealed. Limited to just 100 units and featuring a host of upgrades, there was no doubting that the latest Mopar would be a real hit among enthusiast. However, it has proven even more popular than anyone could have predicted.
After sales recently commenced of the Mopar ’14 Challenger, all 100 were sold out in a mere 24 hours! 52 of the cars ordered will be finished in Pitch Black while the remaining 48 will be finished in Bright White.
In keeping with tradition to its limited-edition predecessors — the Mopar ’10 Challenger, Mopar ’11 Charger, Mopar ’12 300 and Mopar ’13 Dart — the Mopar ’14 Challenger is highlighted by the ‘Shaker style’ stripe in ‘Mopar Blue’. Based around the already impressive Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker, it features the same unique shaker hood and the same 375 hp 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine.
Other unique design elements to contrast the Bright White paint include all-new 20 x 8-inch Gloss Black aluminium wheels with very cool ‘Mopar’ center caps, a unique Black Vapor grille surround, Black fuel-filler door and Gloss Black deck-lid spoiler with Gloss Black ‘Mopar Design’ badge and “Mopar” quarter-glass decals.
