There’s no doubt that the Dubai Police force has the most impressive fleet in the world. After all, it has cars such as a Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron, Bentley Continental GT, McLaren 12C, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Ferrari FF and a Aston Martin One-77.
However, one of the most well-known police departments, the LAPD, isn’t missing out on the action with the recent addition of a first-generation Lamborghini Gallardo to its fleet. The car is actually a donation from the owners of fiber optics company Light Source 1. Unfortunately, the LAPD won’t actually use it for policing and instead it will be used as a charity vehicle.
Finished with a stealthy black and white paint job along with the necessary emergency vehicle decals and roof-mounted light bar, the LAPDs Lamborghini Gallardo is certainly quite attention grabbing.
If a first-gen Gallardo was used by the Dubai Police on the other hand, it’d hardly warrant a rise of the eyebrows!
