Tesla Predicts Massive 2014 European and Asian Sales of Model S

Tesla Motors’ full out assault on the European and Asian markets will kick into high-gear this year with the electric automaker predicting sales in these two continents to be nearly twice the number of units sold as North America.

In 2013, Tesla managed to sell 22,477 units of the Model S, currently its sole model. Initial European deliveries of the Model S have already begun as have deliveries in China. However in its first full year of sales in Europe and Asia, the Tesla Model S is predicted to prove extremely popular with Tesla also set to open over 30 sales and service centres throughout Europe this year.

Additionally, the roll-out of the supercharger network across Europe as well as Asia will continue. Moreover, to make the Tesla Model S more saleable around the world, a right-hand drive variant is currently being created and will initially be available in the United Kingdom.
