Not long after official revealing the 2015 BMW 2-Series and most notably, the potent 2015 BMW M235i, the official BMW M Performance parts for the new 2-Series variants have been revealed before a market launch in March next year.
For the BMW M235i, the BMW M Performance kit includes a limited-slip differential, as well as a new exhaust system which reduces exhaust gas pressure helping to produce an even more sporty soundtrack! The new exhaust system includes tailpipes available in chrome or carbon and featuring the M logo.
Returning to the limited-slip differential available for the BMW M235i, it operates when the DSC is deactivated and ensures that traction is optimised by distributing torque between the rear wheels. Consequently, when equipped with the BMW M Performance limited-slip diff, the M235i can accelerate faster out of corners.
Additional features from the BMW M Performance kit include a new sports suspension system lowering the car by 20 mm. Additionally, a high-capacity performance brake system is available with brake calipers finished in red, yellow or orange. 19-inch BMW M Performance light alloy wheels also add a unique flair to the performance parts line-up.
Included in the BMW M Performance Parts catalogue is the M Performance Aerodynamic Kit available for all 2-Series versions. It includes a new front apron as well as a new rear diffuser. It also features a nice black BMW kidney grille, and some black pin strips and a rear bootlid spoiler.
Moving to the inside, the BMW M Performance Parts for the 2014 BMW 2-Series includes a sports steering wheel, a carbon fiber gear lever, steel pedals and select Alcantara and carbon fiber accents.
