Not long ago, an awesome 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray by Late Model Racecraft and fitted with a nitrous oxide system ran an amazing 9.99 second quarter mile. Such a time is not only impressive for a Corvette but impressive for any supercar and is even faster than the 987 hp Bugatti Veyron.
While that Corvette is indeed very fast, it has nothing compared to the following Corvette ZR1 which recently ran a quick 8.92 second quarter mile at a top speed of 156.25 mph. Making this Corvette ZR1 so fast is a set of new pistons courtesy of Mahle Motorsports and a selection of high performance GM parts.
