Los Angeles 2013: Lexus LF-LC

Lexus LF-LC

The Lexus LF-LC, or the Lexus Future-Luxury Coupe to give its full name, first broke cover at the Detroit Motor Show 2012. This year, Lexus have the LF-LC on display at their stand at the Los Angeles Motor Show 2013 too!

The Lexus LF-LC has been constructed as a concept to demonstrate what a possible Lexus LFA successor might look like. It was designed by Calty Design Research center in Newport Beach, California and featured an early uptake of the Lexus spindle design grille.

The Lexus LF-LC features a front-engine, rear-wheel drive drivetrain layout. We’re not sure the engine has ever officially been announced yet we suspect it features a 5.0-litre V8 engine with a hybrid drive layout.

It was announced back in March that Lexus officials had given the Lexus LF-LC a green light. We might therefore expect to see it in sometime in 2016-2017!
