ADAC Makes a Bid for the Nurburgring

ADAC has made a bid for the Nurburgring

The mighty ADAC is interested in buying the legendary Formula 1 racetrack Nurburgring. The second largest automobile club in the world has made a non-binding offer for the legendary Eifel circuit. An ADAC spokesman confirmed relevant reports of local newspaper on Monday.

The ADAC is a single bidder for the bankrupt racetrack. Previously it was speculated about an alliance with the auto industry. “With the non-binding offer, we hope to access numbers and dates of the Nurburgring to get,” said ADAC Motorsport chief Lars Soutschka. “Then we decide how we will proceed.”

The speaker of the ring renovators, Pietro Nuvoloni, would not comment on individual deals. Binding offers could be delivered by year end. For the association apparently the track itself is in the center – but not other parts of the plant such as the roller coaster “Ring Racer” or the shopping street ” boulevard”. As a possible purchase price , the newspaper called about 100 million euros . The money would be almost entirely accrued to the state of Rhineland -Palatinate as the main creditor
