Having brought official news of the 2015 BMW M235i this morning, BMW have released footage of the new ‘M-Lite’ being thrown around a racing circuit very sideways by three times world motor sport champion, Andy Priaulx. Not only does it seem that the car is happy to smoke its rear tires, but the video seems to be highlighting the effects of the new BMW M Performance limited- slip differential that will appeal to those who yearned for the limited slip-diff in the M135i Hatchback.

Pinned as a successor to the potent BMW M135i coupe, the BMW M235i features a twin-scroll turbocharged 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder petrol engine producing an impressive 321 hp. As a result, when fitted with the standard six-speed manual transmission, the 2014 BMW M235i can hit 100 km/h in a brisk 5 seconds. However, that time falls to 4.8 second when optioned with the eight-speed automatic gearbox.
