The Tesla Model S was always assured to sell well in Scandinavia thanks to the environmentally-conscious people that live there. However, the Tesla Model S has exceeded all sales expectations and recently became the best-selling car in Norway in September.

No, it wasn’t just the best-selling electric car, but the best-selling car full stop. Just how many Model S’ were sold in Norway in September? Well, an amazing 616 units were sold there last month from a total of 12,168 vehicles sold in Norway last month.

To put that figure into perspective, the whole Volkswagen line only sold 1,512 vehicles of numerous models, while the Model S is the sole vehicle currently produced by Tesla Motors.
