Preview: Audi Quattro Concept Headed to Frankfurt

Audi Quattro Concept

Audi released details of an Audi Quattro Concept due to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. At the moment, all we have is a series of sketches, yet they reveal something exciting!

As with all advance previews, technical details are scrace although Quattro badges plenty. We expect it to build on the Concept initially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2010, perhaps using the platform of the Audi RS5 once again. The Frankfurt Concept looks more aggressive than the Paris car, even after we have taken account of the distorted perspectives.

The door seems to have gained an additional air vent and the front looks more angular than before. The interior will have space for four with a simple interior, possibly incorporating touch screen control elements. Hopefully this particular concept will go on sale instead of being cast aside and consigned to the history books!
