A new video surfaced of the LaFerrari, Ferrari‘s new flagship model in action at Fiorano Circuit. The new supercar made its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and production has been pending ever since. Check out the video below to hear the LaFerrari rip around Fiorano!
The Ferrari LaFerrari is powered by a 6.3-liter V12, an electric engine, and a KERS system that supplies brief periods extra power due to the build-up of kinetic energy. All of these factors put together brings the LaFerrari’s total horsepower output to 923bhp.
According to Ferrari, the LaFerrari is the fastest road car that they’ve ever put around the infamous Fiorano Test Track. With a 0 to 60 time in just under three seconds and a top speed of approximately 220 mph, this car is a much quicker machine than its predecessor, the Ferrari Enzo. Ferrari also claims that this car can make it from 0 to 190 mph in about 15 seconds.
The Fiorano Circuit is a private race track that is owned by Ferrari that is used mainly for development and testing purposes. The track can also be used for Ferrari’s customers to test drive their cars around the track. Being a test track, Fiorano has a wide variety of different turns and the circuit is equipped with telemetry sensors and a large skidpad in order to test the tires.
