Spyshots: 2014 Lexus GS F Spotted in Germany

Not long after spyshots of the Lexus IS F Coupe emerged, officially known as the Lexus RC F, the latest Lexus to undergo the F performance treatment, the Lexus GS, was recently spotted testing for the very first time.

The following images were shot in Germany and show the silver Lexus GS-F on a car lift with the trademark yet quite horrible looking stacked, quad-exhaust pipes first used on the outgoing Lexus IS-F and also seen on the Ferrari California. Additionally, this car can be seen with a much more prominent rear diffuser confirming the fact that this Lexus GS-F is sporting much more power than the regular car.

While seeing these images and hearing about the Lexus GS-F initially surprised us, creating such a performance sedan actually makes sense for Lexus. As it stands, the Lexus LFA sedan competes with the BMW E92 M3, while the Lexus RC-F coupe will compete with the BMW M4 coupe. The Lexus GS-F pictured here would therefore make the perfect rival to the BMW M5 as well as the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.

Additional exterior features found on this Lexus GS-F prototype are new sport wheels as well as a small bootlid spoiler lip.

More news and spyshots of the Lexus GS F are set to emerge in the coming months, so be sure to stay tuned for that!
