Report: Ferrari to Reveal New Bespoke Models at Goodwood Festival

Ferrari at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013

Ferrari has made official today their plans to aggressively market their vehicle customization options at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.

According to Ferrari, they will display a bespoke FF which will feature a semi-aniline leather interior as well as a custom panoramic glass roof. While one would assume a panoramic glass roof would be cool enough in and of itself, Ferrari claims the roof will use tinted low emissions glass. The glass will help to regulate a cool, steady cabin temperature for both winter and summer.

And if the FF isn’t quite your style, Ferrari plans to introduce a highly customized 458 Spider. The Spider will sport an Ice Pearl White exterior; a far cry from any normal exterior paint offered by the factory. Grigio Silverstone racing stripes will sit atop the paint as another added touch. Both are options that customers can choose to place on their cars, although no word on pricing was released.

The flagship model of Ferrari’s one-off program – Eric Clapton’s SP12 EC – will also be on display as a representation of what customers can achieve, provided they have deep enough pockets.

In addition to the bespoke 458 Spider, FF and Eric Clapton’s SP12 EC, Fernando Alonso’s 2010 Formula One car will also make an appearance.
