Talk about a brand new 2015 Maserati GranTurimso has been around for some time now and new information from Edmunds reports that the new 2015 Maserati GranTurimso and GranCabrio will preview a brand new styling direction for Maserati.
Company insiders went onto reveal that rather than the spacious four-seat GT car the Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio currently are, the new car will be closer to a 2+2 layout indicating that it’ll be more driver focused than the outgoing model. At the moment, the Maserati Quattroporte, the brand-new Maserati Ghibli and the upcoming Maserati Levante SUV share a common design language and even though the 2015 Maserati GranTurismo is just around the corner, it’ll look substantially different.
While no details can be given about just how dramatically different the exterior and interior styling will be, the smaller rear seats of the 2015 Maserati GranTurismo indicate that it’ll be slightly shorter than the current model. In addition to previewing a new company-wide styling language in the 2015 Maserati GranTurismo, Maserati hopes to expand model wide sales to 50,000 by 2015.
To help achieve such production figures, Maserati CEO Harald Wester recently confirmed the Italian marque will produce more limited-edition models in the future thanks to the company’s increased capacity to do so.
