Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013 Drivers Revealed

The complete drivers list for the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013 has just been released with some of the greatest racing drivers ever set to attend, including Sir Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, John Surtees as well as current Formula One drivers, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.

Additionally, the cars each of those drivers will be piloting up the famous hillclimb have also been revealed with 2009 Formula One World Champion Jenson Button having the chance to drive the McLaren M8D and the brand new McLaren P1 up the infamous course. Lewis Hamilton on the other hand will be driving a Mercedes-Benz W154 and his current Formula One car up the hill.

A selection of other current and former Formula One drivers will be in attendance including Anthony Davidson, Sebastien Buemi, Max Chilton and Sergio Perez. Sergio Perez will be driving a McLaren M23 and McLaren MP4/4. What’s more, Nick Heidfeld will jump behind the wheel of the fastest car to have ever gone through the course in his McLaren MP4/13 F1 car which set the record back in 1999.

Other notable drivers set to attend will be two-time 24 Hours Le Mans winner, Allan McNish, Formula One designer Adrian Newey, and former Formula One racer and current F1 commentator, Martin Brundle.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013 will run from the 11th of July to the 14th of July, 2013.
