Official: 2014 BMW M5

After being spied testing numerous times in recent months, BMW has finally taken the wraps off the facelifted 2014 BMW M5.

While the changes to the facelifted 2014 BMW M5 are only minor, the new car does feature some unique features which will clearly set it apart from the previous BMW F10 M5.

First and foremost, the most dramatic change is the redesigned double-spoke black design of the front kidney grille with a new M5 logo now being found at the top right corner of the right front kidney grille.

Additional exterior changes include slightly tweaked headlights and taillights with the headlights now being available as optional Adaptive LED units while the taillights now feature thinner LEDs.

Inside, a redesigned steering wheel has been borrowed from the 2014 BMW M6 as well as a touch-sensitive surface for the new iDrive4.2 navigation system.

Completing the changes found on the 2014 BMW M5 are the addition of new colors including Frozen Blue Metallic, Pyrite Brown Metallic and additional matte ‘frozen’ finishes.
