Bristol Italian AutoMoto Festival 2013

The Bristol Italian AutoMoto Festival went down last Saturday at St Nicholas Market and the event was opened officially by Bristol’s Lord Mayor, Councillor Peter Main. The event was graced by over 400 classic and vintage Italian cars, motorcycles and scooters, Lamborghini were celebrating their 50th anniversary but the theme of the event was Abarths and Spiders.

Nigel M Cole attended this event and his photography work is nothing short of the description of the event, everything from Lamborghini to Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Maserati and basically the best of the Italian exotics. The bikes were largely represented by Ducati, with the legendary Desmosdici present too. Other than just enjoying the show, the owners of these cars were vying for top prizes and rosettes which were awarded in the afternoon.

Bristol is just one of the locations where the Italian Auto Moto Club holds its monthly events; there are other locations in their calendar including South Wales, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Dorset. They welcome any new venues suggested by interested participants.
