An extremely rare Lamborghini-powered Minardi Formula One car has just been listed for sale on Motors Cars International, and due to it being one of just three Minardi’s featuring a Lamborghini-sourced V12 engine, it’s certainly set to become a collector’s item.
Despite Lamborghini’s main rival of Ferrari being an absolute staple in Formula One since the racing series’ inception in 1950, Lamborghini has never been as motorsport focused as Ferrari and after facing consecutive disappointing results during the early 1990’s, the company discontinued supplying engines for Formula One teams.
As a result, that makes the following Formula One racer all the more exclusive and even though no pricing details have been released for the car, we’d be very surprised if this didn’t fetch well into the millions of dollars!
