Based alone on its size and docile exterior, one could easily mistake the 2013 Audi A8 as being nothing more than a rich man’s sedan.
However, under the hood the car comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and according to Audi itself, it can hit 100km/h in just 4.7 seconds, some 1.2 seconds slower than the more powerful Audi S8.
Blake Simon from F1Photography consequently decided to test Audi’s claims by going for a cruise before putting the Audi A8 through its paces in a sprint from 0-100km/h. Despite having two fully grown men in the car, this completely stock 2013 Audi A8 manages to hit 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds, and in 3.7 seconds with just the driver on board!
