Spyshots: Porsche 991 Targa in the Snow

German sportscar manufacturer Porsche is testing its upcoming convertible model of the 991, the 2013 Porsche 991 Targa.

After previous spyshots of the upcoming Porche 911 Targa, new pictures have been released today. We can see the Porsche 991 Targa testing in the snow of Scandinavia. It wears a convertible top with camouflage.

In terms of powertrain, expect Porsche’s seven-speed PDK gearbox mated to either a 3.4 liter or 3.8 liter flat six with 345hp and 394hp, respectively. The trque output shouldn’t be anything but nominally different than the current generation 911, with 288lb-ft expected for the 3.4 liter and 324lb-ft for the 3.8 liter option.
