A U.S. military Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter crashed recently while racing a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 for an episode of Top Gear Korea, a version of the British show for South Korean audiences. The new footage show’s Kim Jin Pyo was driving the Corvette ZR1 while the helicopter flew above him in what was a race to see who crosses the finish line first.
It was not long before Kim Jin Pyo crossed the line first, having driven the ZR1 perfectly on the runway. As for the pilots flying the helicopter, theirs was to finish in style, make a few air turns and then a safe landing. This didn’t happen as the helicopter suddenly thundered to the ground before a cloud of dust engulfed the circumference of the crash. No one was seriously hurt. The pilots were treated and walked away from the scene.
