The Targa High Country held annually in the high country roads of Victoria, Australia brings together a huge selection of supercars which compete in the multi-day street rally on closed tarmac roads.
The event attracts some of the most impressive supercars in the world, namely a selection of Lamborghini’s such as the following Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale.
Jason and John White were driving the rare Super Trofeo Stradale and after the 2011 event where the rear end of their Gallardo caught fire, the two were out for redemption in the 2012 running of Targa High Country and despite having to retire the car in the second day after a front differential failure while in the lead, the two following videos were put together of the car.
The first one includes highlights of driving footage shot of the Super Trofeo Stradale while the second video takes a deeper look into the event from the perspectives of the White’s and how on some stretches they manage to reach 250km/h on tight roads in the middle of dangerous forests!
