MotorTrend has recently compared the 2013 SRT Viper GTS against the 2012 Corvette ZR1 in their Head to Head edition by taking the two to the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. In this hot lap, pro race driver Randy Pobst tested each one of them.
The track is not new to the ZR1 which recently set a new lap record of 1:33.70, when put in a drag race, the two muscle cars did an 11.4 seconds, as you can see in the comparison sheet below, these two have several similarities but final word from Randy he was able to access more performance in the ZR1 than in the Viper.
