The VW Group has given the green light for the introduction of quite a number of new cars and the latest one is the 2016 Audi Q8. This comes shortly after VW confirmed the same for the Bentley EXP 9 F. As for the Q8, Car Magazine reports that its platform will be based on the Q7 and out to compete against the BMW X6 and Land Rover Range Rover Sport.

The Q8 will receive a Quattro all-wheel drive configuration as opposed to the normal front-wheel drive configuration found in the MLB platform. It’s also expected to receive a variety of powertrains ranging from a V6 to a V8 with supercharging offered in the gasoline engine and turbocharging in the diesel engine.

As with most car makers in recent times, there is the possibility of a plug-in hybrid for the Q8 with a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine. Apart from the Q8, the VW Group is also planning on introducing a Q2 based on the A1, a lower, a three-door version of the Q3 named the Q4 and finally a Q6 which would be based on the Q5.

  1. @Richard i think you need to go and learn economics, they base there designs on consciounsess being how one thinks, which of course has an effect on economics.

It’s very important to get it right, of course as you would agree conciousness runs and sustains the world/universes workings (we are ONE with all) so of course to sustain life so as we can exist.
