At the stand of Slovenian exhaust specialist Akrapovic we came across this 2013 BMW F12M M6 fitted with their latest product offering, an Evolution Line exhaust. The system is available for both the coupe and convertible model.

The system features dual-outlet mufflers with exhaust valves, flow-optimised pipes and an unique cast titanium X-shaped crossover with resonators. The cast X-pipe, valves, and flange assembly are produced in their foundry. The display unit has aerospace-grade carbon fiber tail pipes but is available with optional polished titanium items.

The system offers a better throttle response throughout the engine’s rev range, a rise in high rpm output performance and a large reduction in weight (-12.3kg) over the standard exhaust. The peak power gain is 10hp at 5,950rpm and the torque is 17Nm.
