Bentley is on a roll this year releasing new models at every auto show, we recently wrote about a new Sports Car that Bentley is planning to reveal at the Paris Auto Show but before that, at the Moscow Motor show which is currently ongoing, Bentley is showing several beauties. One is the new Continental GT Speed, a high performance version of the GT coupé. The GT Speed uses a 625 horsepower version of its 6.0 liter W12 petrol engine, which also turns out 800Nm of torque, paired with the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and is capable of accelerating from naught to 60mph in four seconds and a top speed of 205mph making it Bentley’s fastest production car.
Bentley has modified the chassis and steering setups, and the car’s overall ride height has been lowered. Its measurements are 4,806mm long, 1,944mm wide and 1,394mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,746mm. The fuel economy for the beast is at 22.5 liter per 100km in the city, and 10.4 liter per 100km on the highway. Bentley is saying that the GT Speed has been inspired from the “Speed” models from 1923 and the first generation of the Continental GT Speed, which was introduced back in 2007. This particular one is named the “gentlemen’s supercar”.
Also showing at the Moscow Motor Show are its two new exclusive exteriors for the beasty Mulsanne and they are Theatre, which concentrates on entertainment and has an Apple computer hidden in its boot, and the second one is iPad, which has two of Apple’s popular tablet devices integrated into the rear seat passengers’ picnic tables.
