Lamborghini Aventador J by Prindiville Design

UK tuner Prindiville Design recently unveiled a rendering of the Lamborghini Aventador J. Despite the fact that the Aventador J was an one-off Prindiville have taken to drawing a few extra modifications. The chance that this would actually get made are extremely slim considering the Lamborghini Aventador J recently sold for the sum of 2.1 million euros.

After changing the colour from red to gray, Prindiville added a new front bumper design with carbon fiber accents, a hood with a carbon central stripe, side skirts, carbon fiber rear air intakes and a new, conventional rear wing.

The Lamborghini Aventador J gets its name, rather bizarrely, from the sporting rules of the FIA world motorsport organization. Its “Appendix J” defines the technical specification of race cars in the various classes. The Lamborghini Aventador J gets the 6.5 liter V12 more commonly found in the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 with a 700hp power rating.

In the Prindiville version, MotorAuthority tells us that Prindiville’s 805hp upgrades could be fitted. These consist of an ECU re-map, performance air filter and a titanium exhaust system. This is also available for the standard Lamborghini Aventador at a price of £7995.00. This is enough to allow the Aventador J with its weight saving features to acheive a 0-100km/h time of 2.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 220mph.
