During the SEMA Motor Show last year we saw a concept version of the Lexus GS 350 F Sport. Up to now, it hadn’t been confirmed that the high-performance GS would ever see production, but product planning chief Karl Schlicht has stated “he would love to see the Japanese premium brand offer its own rival to the Mercedes E63 AMG”.
The production version of the GS-F will most probably get a 450-horsepower 4.6 liter V10, a downsized version of the V10 engine in the LFA supercar. Expected design details are the spindle grille we recently saw on the GS F-Sport model.
The release of the powerful sedan is still two years away, but the intentions of Lexus are clear.
