After months of teasing, Jaguar have officially unveiled the Jaguar XF Sportbrake at the Geneva Motor Show 2012. The estate version of the Jaguar XF went on display this week for all to see prior to deliveries starting later in the year. It competes against the big German manufacturers, Mercedes E-Class Estate, Audi’s A6 Avant and BMW’s 5-Series Touring.

The 2013 Jaguar XF Sportbrake will be offered with only diesel engined options. This means a 2.2 liter I4 Diesel with 204hp and a 3.0 liter V6 Diesel with both 240hp and 275hp options. The XF Sportbrake gets a totally new rear end from the B-pillar back. The extended roofline allows the rear passengers 4.8 inches extra headroom and a 1,675 liter load capacity.
