Heffner Performance recently contacted us with news of a rebuild they recently completed on an existing Heffner Performance Lamborghini Gallardo Twin Turbo. The owner opted to completely rebuild his Lamborghini Twin Turbo conversion to the latest specification, increasing the power to a mind blowing 1470hp on C16 race fuel, and a more manageable 920hp figure on Canadian spec 91 octane petrol. Both figures are taken at crank.
We haven’t heard much from Heffner Performance in recent times. However, they assure us that this is because they are busy producing these vehicles on a weekly basis for customers around the world. This particular car had previously received a twin turbo conversion and after 35,000 miles, the owner decided that he wanted the latest system. Heffner obliged and fitted the supercar with its new power kit.
The work was done at Heffner’s Sarasota workshop. The Gallardo was disassembled and a new motor fitted due to the OEM fuel injectors and stock pumps becoming clogged; the result of which was multiple burnt cylinders. As you will see from the pictures, the car is highly modified. Let us know what you think in the comments box below!
why hasn’t anyone built anything that matches the UGR Gallardos?
