The Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 is the racing version of the modern day Gullwing. The SLS AMG GT3 is powered by the 6.3 liter V8 AMG engine which puts out at least 600 horsepower. Thanks to this figure and its low weight, the car is able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds. Depending on the gear ratio, the top speed is in excess of 300km/h.

Now Mercedes has released three videos showing the production of the SLS AMG GT3 in various stages. The first video offers a view into the first steps of production. In this part the power train is being integrated into the GT3’s structure. We can also see other parts being installed, like the massive brakes. The second part video is a time-lapse in which the body is being assembled. The last video shows how the driver’s seat and position in the cockpit is being customized.
