With the Superbowl being the most watched sports entertainment program in the United States, it was a perfect moment for car companies to advertise their automobiles in a catchy and entertaining way that the American people would remember by, and convince those in the market of buying a car. With over 110 million viewers from the United States alone, the Superbowl is one of the best advertising portals for any car manufacturer.

Here is a list of our Top Ten Superbowl car ads featured in Superbowl XLVI.

Number 10: Hyundai made it obvious that it wants to make a huge impact in the ads of Superbowl XLVI. Their clever, witty, short, and sometimes outright funny ads really got the viewers’ attention. We’ve put 3 of them in our list of ten, starting off with the Hyundai Veloster Turbo vs Cheetah ad.

Number 9: I’m sure all movie watchers world wide know or heard of Clint Eastwood. If you aren’t familiar with him, then you’re probably familiar with his voice. His unmistakable rusty and rough voice is one that sounds very similar to Irish actor Liam Neeson, but with a bit more experience and depth in it. In our next commercial, Eastwood is taking America back and reminiscing about the hard times they went through, and how, as a nation didn’t give up and got back up. This would be a lot higher in our list if it had a bit more car and a little less talk. But none the less, it’s a very convincing and heart warming commercial that touched a lot of Americans.

Number 8: In our 8th spot, we have a hide-your-grin type commercial for all the guys out there. For all those guys who know the movie Twilight, know that it’s a movie mainly directed at girls or women. Usually in most cases, a guy would only like the movie because either their girlfriend or a special someone forced them to like it. But there are exceptions. This ad makes all those guys who “like” Twilight smirk and wish Edward (the vampire in Twilight) drove an Audi. Enjoy!

Number 7: Volkswagen blew away the American viewers with their advertisement in last year’s Superbowl with the Volkswagen Passat being controlled by kid Darth Vader. This year, they come back with another good one, with an “all new” Volkswagen Beetle.

Number 6: Hyundai’s All for One ad this year was a cheerfully brought together ad. It apparently shows the spirit that their companies express while designing their cars. This was more entertainment than car.

Number 5: Half way through our list, and Chevrolet really didn’t disappoint with this ad. Make sure you’re not eating or drinking anything while watching this next commercial because it won’t give you cramps, but it’ll definitely make you laugh, or at least smile.

Number 4: Another ad that Hyundai brought its A-game to was our number 4 ad. It shows that their car’s fierce acceleration and braking could substitute for CPR. Do not try this at home.

Number 3: When you watch an advertisement like the our next one, you’ll basically see how much commitment and money goes into make a good Superbowl ad. From bungee jumping a Chevrolet Sonic to throwing it off an airplane, to playing a piano with it. Definitely worth a top 3 spot.

Number 2: The next commercial was a commercial that made one of the biggest impact in the United States this Superbowl. Right after the commercial aired, there were spikes in searches for Fiat, and even after the Superbowl, many automobile websites were showing increased numbers in Fiat searches. Maybe it should’ve been said or mentioned that the model shown in the commercial doesn’t come with the car. Just hope lawsuits don’t open up on this.

Number 1: And our winner is, the Acura NSX commercial. This commercial was rated the best Superbowl commercial by numerous websites. And fans of comedian Jerry Seinfeld will not be disappointed.
