Video: Cobra Replica Crash at Willow Springs

The following video shows what happens when something goes wrong on a race track at 130mph. This crash happened recently at Willow Springs International Motorsports Park in California. The Cobra owner had spent $ 14,000 on the engine alone, something went wrong at the rear end which sent the vehicle into the dirt, flipping the car several times.

Fortunately the driver walked away with only minor injuries to his left knee and bruised ribs. It could have been a lot worse considering the low levels of protection these cars offer and the fact that the owner didn’t have arm restraints. The vehicle had been offered for sale that weekend, the owner now plans to build a new one!
