The GT Guy, a garage the works exclusively on Ford GT’s recently revealed details and photos of a project together with Camilo Pardo, the man who designed the Ford GT40 Concept. This example is called the Merkury 4 on account of its custom chrome bodywork and flouresent orange center stripe. This is real paint, not just a wrap!
The cars stickers were custom designed by Camilo Pardo, the calipers were painted silver and a series of performance modifications were made. A generation two Whipple supercharger has been added with a GTG cold air intake kit. A modification that allows this particular GT 725rwhp on 91 octane fuel. An Accufab throttlebody, custom Hot Rod black painted valve covers, a new clamshell intakes and a cermanic coated Ford Racing catalyst eliminator pipe have all been fitted.
Center-bolt rims in 275/30ZR19 front and 345/30ZR20 rear sizes have been custom fitted by HRE, they came fitted with Michelin tyres. The final list of modifications includes a GT Guy “Vintage” bumper delete kit, a passport radar detector/jammer system, a custom billet fuel cap, billet clamshell center and side clamshell vents, GT Guy clamshell release hooks and Penske triple adjustable shocks with custom alignment allowing the GT to sit lower by 1 inch.
It’s a very thorough kit, blending subtle upgrades, a fresh colour scheme and outrageous amounts of power!
