Following the release of the Toyota FT-86 Concept II back in March at the Geneva Motor Show and the confirmation of more details shortly after that, we can now show you the finished 2012 Toyota FT-86, which leaked today via a Japanese brochure.
The final car does not differ a lot from the concept we saw earlier. The final package received an aggressive looking nose and a three piece body kit. The first details of the interior reveal a central placed tachometer, a big steering wheel, minimalistic controls and a basic design.
The FT-86 is expected to feature a 2.0 liter Boxer engine with approximately 200hp. The name of the new sports car will most likely change to “Celica”.
No its looks great.
Awesome the new Celica, I bet there is going to be a new Supra as well and if it looks just a bit like this but more brutal…yummi! :D
This front spoiler is hideous. The worse I’ve seen in years. Anyway, that’s good news for body kit manufacturers because the rest is ok and if the car is cheap (it’s only a toyota) they may sell some.
i like the back the front isnt that great, the interior is on point
looks cheap
