Sprinting from standstill to 62mph (100km/h) in about three seconds is very fast, cars doing it faster are extremely rare. The king of the sprint to 62mph (100km/h) is the Bugatti Veyron, but in the sprint to 200mph (320km/h) the car from Molsheim, Germany has been beaten by the Koenigsegg Agera R who did the official run in just 17.68 seconds where the Veyron needed 17.7 seconds.
The video below shows the engineers at SSC pushing the car to its limit. They say they clocked a time between 15.1 and 15.8 seconds but it hasn’t been officially recorded. The guys promised they will take the car out again for an official GPS verification. We can’t wait to see the 0–200mph (320km/h) being beaten again, so please stay tuned for more!
