The 2012 Audi S8 has finally showed its real face while testing in the Alps after numerous spyshots released on our front page. Our friends at Teamspeed released these new photos showing the 2012 S8 in all its uncamouflaged glory.
The front bumper is looking more sporty then the standard A8, but still elegant. The new 2012 S8 will get a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 producing up to 500hp and is about 20 percent more fuel efficient. The S8 received bigger brakes than the standard A8 just to be sure that the S8 stops where you want. To finish off the exterior trim, the S8 comes with four chromed exhaust pipes at the back.
It looks exactly the same, even for a facelift that’s a bit to little changed.
well that’s audi philosophy….whole fleet is all the same…boring, boring, boring…..they can’t compare with mercs and bimmers…
It looks like the A7 which I think is fugly. Ditto @Peter.
I am with everyone, it is barely more aggressive then the A8, what is worse is a A8 S-line will look identical to a S8. Boring for a much more expensive performance model is for sure.
