Photo Of The Day Red Hennessey Venom GT in Bulgaria

Official GTspirit photographer Willem de Zeeuw came across a red Hennessey Venom GT during his holiday at Dinevi Marina in Sveti Vlas, Bulgaria. The red Venom GT is based on a Lotus Exige and is one of the five sports cars produced by the US company in 2011. The other four were sold in the US and Arabia.

The Venom GT is powered by a twin turbocharged Chevrolet LS-series aluminum V8 producing up to 1,200hp and 1,135lb-ft torque mated to a six-speed Ricardo manual transaxle (the same as found in the Ford). The Venom is capable of hitting 100km/h in about 2.2 seconds. Top speed will be 262mph. The sports car uses 15 inch, six-piston front, four-piston rear, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes to provide the appropriate braking power.

  1. I’m surprised there is no ‘Especially for Mr. Dinev’ badge. They tend to stick one on their cars and is complete fake. They put them by themselves. 2 years ago they got Aston DB9 with body kit from some German tuner and they claimed to be the first DBS in Bulgaria. All car magazines made article with pictures of the ‘Especially’ badge. And when we the readers recognized that it’s tuned DB9 not a DBS . Đ¢here was disclaimer in every magazine’s next issue that it is actually DB9 and that the badge is fake. But the stupid editors couldn’t recognize it. LOL
