This year’s rally car line-up at Goodwood 2011 includes numerous vehicles from the birth of stage rallying, legendary group B cars and giants of moden rallying.
From the world of rallying, star drivers Kris Meeke, Dani Sordo, Ken Block, Guy Wilks and Skoda UK Motorsport IRC Rally driver Andreas Mikkelsen were on the Forest Rally Stage, along with many other rallying greats who were reacquainted with the cars that made them famous, including Juha Kankkunen, Rauno Aaltonen, Jimmy McRae, Hannu Mikkola and Russell Brookes.
Before heading into the forest a large group of cars drove up the hill starting in front of Goodwood house. We spotted vehicles like the Peugeot 405 T16, which won the 1987 Paris Dakar, the epic Audi Sport Quattro S1, Peugeot 207 S2000, Skoda Fabia S2000, MINI JCW driven by Kris Meeke and the Ford Fiesta RS WRC with Ken Block behind the wheel.
