BMW 1M Safety Car at M-Festival at Nurburgring

BMW 1M Safety Car at M-Festival at Nurburgring

The BMW 1M Safety Car is currently used as the official car for the World Championship MotoGP. The BMW Safety Car is a one-off built by BMW M GmbH specifically for this race series and is based on the 1-Series M Coupe.

The safety car comes with more than just a paint job, however, as only the engine and transmission from the production car have been carried over. The car comes with a new carbon fiber and polycarbonate body, a titanium exhaust and an adjustable rear wing on the back. The sports car runs on 19-inch mixed tyres measuring 255/35 at the front and 285/30 at the rear.

In the cockpit you will find a roll cage, a pair of racing buckets and a six-point harness.
