To meet customer demands and in line of further development the guys from KTM have created a ‘R’ version of their yet hardcore X-Bow. The X-Bow R comes with a 2.0 liter TFSI petrol engine from Audi origine, which has been equipped with a larger turbocharger, high performance fuel injectors and a new ECU.
Thanks to these modifications, the engine now produces 295bhp together with 400Nm of torque. That compared to the standard X-Bow you’ll get an extra 55 horses to play with.
To handle the extra power, engineers installed a new torque arm that is directly connected to the carbon monocoque chassis. Beside that the car’s center of gravity has been lowered by 15mm and the suspension has been upgraded with stiffer springs and dampers.
All this can be yours for about €58,800.
