Our Photo of the day is this BMW E92 M3 shot at the Caracciola Karussell, also known as the Carousel. Although being one of the slower corners on the Nordschleife, the Carousel is perhaps one of its most iconic corners of the 22.810km Nordschleife or “Northern Loop”.
The combination of a recognisable corner, slow moving cars, and the variation in viewing angle as cars rotate around the banking mean that this is one of the circuit’s most popular locations for photographers.
Alex Williams used the location to create this wonderful shot. You can check Alex’s Flickr photostream right here.
Bursting your bubble perhaps, but this is the Schwalbenschwanz, not the Karussell! ;) It’s all in the details.
Forget what i just said. It is the Karussell, barriers over there are different.
Mb: Epic fail LOL!!
Thanks guys! :)
Carousel and Corkscrew(in Laguna Seca)must be the most iconic corners in the whole world.
Really like this shot! The M3 is so balanced.
