Aston Martin have released a fresh sketch of what the Vantage GT3 will look like; Aston’s replacement for the DBRS9. The car will be built on the platform of the V12 Vantage and delivered to customers to compete in the 2012 season. It will join the Vantage GT2, GT4, DBR9 GT1 and the AMR-One LMP1 racing models.
Maximum weight should be around 1250kg. The 6.0 liter V12 engine, complete with lightweight dry-sump, should put out 600bhp and 700Nm of torque. No word on price yet but expect this one to be limited in the same way as the DBRS9, of which, only 26 units were built.
