German tuner Wheelsandmore has released their program for the new Mercedes CLS series type 218.
Main focus of the kit is the new three-piece forged wheelmodel 6Sporz². The lightweight wheels were combined sizing 9,5 x20 at the front axle with Dunlop Sportmaxx tyres 255/30/20 and on the drive axle sizing 11.0 x 20 inches with wide tires sizing 305/25/20 inches, either delivered by Dunlop.
The engineers from Baesweiler weren´t satisfied about serial performance of the new twin-turbo engine from Afalterbach. They increased the output by upgrading the control electronics together with a valve controlled exhaust system with sport catalysts on a total of 580hp and an additional 80lb-ft of torque.
The new CLS AMG Coupe uses a combination of conventional suspension at the front-and air suspension at the rearaxle. Together with German suspension specialists KW automotive, the tuning company has developed a solution to lower the vehicle’s center of gravity, consisting a height adjustable spring kit for the frontaxle combined with a continuously adjustable level control electronics for axis No.2.
