The guys over at Autoblog.nl have come across the specifications of the upcoming 2012 Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupe. The Coupe version of the smallest AMG family member is the main competitor to the BMW E92 M3 Coupe and the Audi RS5 Coupe.
The specifications were found by a reader of the blog at the Dutch Mercedes-Benz website and reveal that the sports car uses the 6.2 liter V8 engine producting 457hp and 600Nm of maximum torque. Using the AMG Performance package the horsepower goes up to 487hp. A sprint from zero to 100km/h is done in 4.5 seconds. The engine setup is linked to a seven-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox with race-start functionality.
The package includes AMG front bumper, AMG grille, specific AMG LED dayrunning lights, sideskirts, AMG exhaust system, AMG alloys and the AMG logo at the back.
